Myspace Contact TablesDepuis quatre années maintenant, le groupe amiénois Ashura investit les scènes de France et d'Europe pour promouvoir et présenter son "Raging Death metal." Ce style forgé par le groupe réunit des éléments de Death Metal Us, de Thrash metal, de Hardcore, grindcore le tout parsemé de mélodies chères au groupe. Le style des amiénois pourrait se résumer comme étant à la rencontre de " Morbid Angel, Slayer, Hatebreed et Napalm Death ". Les concerts du groupe sont débordants d'énergie communicative, alternant les passages brutaux et extrêmes avec des parties plus aériennes et mélodiques, voire également très rythmés ou le groupe prend sur ces derniers toute sa puissance et son ampleur sonore. . Ashura a donné depuis sa création plus de 150 concerts dans sa région, dans son pays et même à l'étranger dans d'autres pays de l'Union européenne. Fort de son premier album "At the dawn of your deterioration" remarqué par la presse spécialisée, ( Metallian, Hard'n heavy, Rock Hard francais et allemand, Legacy... ) par les webzines européens les plus visités et par le milieu underground européen, le groupe picard partit promouvoir sa musique au quatre coin de l'Europe en première partie du groupe américain Vital Remains. Cette tournée a considérablement aidé le groupe à se forger une expérience solide de la scène et a très correctement diffusé le nom et la réputation du groupe hors frontières nationales. A l'heure actuelle, Ashura arpente toujours les routes pour la promotion de son premier album sorti chez Thundering records/ Manitou Music en septembre dernier. Ashura aura l'opportunité en 2006 d'ouvrir pour Entombed et Dismember, ainsi que pour Sup et Napalm Death. Tout ceci avant de retourner en studio enregistrer son deuxième album " The Legacy of Hatred "au Studios Midnight, produit par Hubert Letombe. La sortie ce deuxième album est attendue pour début 2007. Ce dernier sans ressembler trait pour trait à son prédécesseur confirmera et assiéra de manière plus sombre et bien plus énergique encore la musique du groupe. La manière de composer diffèrera dans le sens ou les morceaux seront plus courts, intenses et directs tout en restant similaires à l'esprit développé sur "At the dawn of your deterioration. Cet album sera composé de 15 titres dont certains sont dés à présent interprétés sur scène par le groupe, la majorité d'entre eux ayant été composés pour la scène. 2007 verra un autre important objectif du groupe dans un nouveau projet de tournée européenne, ayant pour but de notamment de visiter des pays ou la musique metal connaît depuis ces dernières années un essort considérable; il s'agira pour le groupe de pénétrer les marchés scandinaves, Allemands et de l'Europe de l'est.
Since their debut, four years ago, Ashura has invested french and european scenes, promoting and presenting their Death metal : Raging death metal. The style forged by the band relies on a Us Death metal basis to wich Ashura graft elements from Thrash metal, scandinavian death metal as well as some Hardcore new school touch powering up the music practised by the combo. The band live performances are thus overflowing with communicative energy, alterning brutal and extreme passages and some more melodic parts. But it's with the frequent use of mosh part and mid tempo that the group shows all its power and heaviness. Ashura's influences could be briefly defined by a crossing beetween : Morbid angel, old metallica, The haunted, Pantera, Nostromo, Death, Hatebreed.But exact as this may be, this particular mix is not able to define precisely the group "Raging death". With their first album " At the dawn of your deterioration", well noticed by specialized press (Metallian, hard n heavy, rock hard, legacy... ), the most visited webzines and european underground, Ashura went to promote their music all across Europe. A serious opportunity as Ashura had the honour, for 10 shows, to be the opening act for one of the best death metal band in the whole world : Vital Remains. This tour helped the group considerably in forging a solid experience on bigger stages and very correctly diffusing the band's name and reputation beyond national borders. During the first half of 2006, Ashura kept promoting their first album wich was out on september on Thundering records. Ashura also had the opportunity and honour to open for Entombed and Dismember at a famous french fest. Ashura will play in opening of Napalm Death in November 2006.The second album “The Legacy of Hatred†is awaited on january 2007. This new opus, without ressembling its predecessor, will confirm the music of the band in a darker and more violent way. The news songs will be shorter, more intense, direct, while remaining similar to the spirit developed on " At the dawn of your deterioration". This will be composed by 12 titles some of wich are already interpreted on stage. Most of these songs were composed for the pit !
