than 5 dollars a show, try to top that today, you couldn't come close.
Whats left ? are 100 some-odd songs spanning the bands that drummer
leader Dave Jones put together in Mental Abuse and his prior / latter band projects with singer Syd Sludge appearing as the First choice singer, A released - off the wall Hard-core Caesar cassette tape featuring Sludge and just about every Dover House musician that existed letting their minds wander. The one and only Streets-Of-Filth full length LP, The Message To America, Hardcore has come of Age, Comp. and a just released 57 song OutGroup (Out-Completely) cd that depicts NJ hardcore at it's finest. And the yet-to-be-found Demos and taped practices of all the projects that came after Mental Abuse. Dont call them demo's, Don't call them practices, If their on tape, Consider them finished classics. And One day they WILL surface.
Until then, enjoy perusing the sites, listen to the sounds, dig the pics, hit other bands from the early 80's websites, support the scene by not forgetting it.
