First I'm a frustrated writer. There's a screenplay in my head waiting to get out.
Interesting, funny, entertaining creative types and John Cusack.."http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3Lm15c3BhY2U uY29tL3J5YW5tb250YmxlYXU=" target=NEW
Musicians are my downfall. I love all kinds of music and like to support local and independent musicians as much as I can. When I say support, I mean in that love your music way, not let me pay the bills so you can stay home and strum a guitar all day. The HR Business doesn't pay that well.....
Movies are my passion. I have so many favorites, its hard to list them. Kevin Smith is my idol, would like my screenplay to be as brilliant as Clerks. Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant, and did I mention John Cusack?
I tried so hard not to get hooked on reality shows but I finally gave in and now I'm hooked on some really stupid ones like Rock Star, Top Design and the others on Bravo. It's weak, I know but they sucked me in. I try to watch Grey's Anatomy (hey I work in a hospital and the drs aren't that hot) and The Office. and Entourage, Weeds make me keep paying the Direct TV bill
There's nothing worse than being stuck in line or waiting around anywhere with nothing to read! I read almost anything, my favorites are autobiographies, cheesier the better. Nick Hornby, Wally Lamb are two of my favorite authors (Wally, its time to write another book). And my biggest weakness, I read the tabloids on the weekends for Hollywood gossip and fashion, especially shoes...
My heroes are those people who are not afraid to reinvent themselves, start over until they get it right. Jane Fonda was the first famous person that I watched do this. My other heroes are people like my friend, Ilean who made it to Dallas from New Orleans when Katrina blew in. She lost almost everything but she took care of her mother who died less than a year after they got here and she raises her nephew who is a pretty awesome kid. My daughter is my hero because she is ready to try new things and follow her dream, I think she's fearless. My other hero, my son. He is the shyest boy but given the chance, will make you laugh until it hurts. He lives and breathes baseball and works hard at it, like my daughter he has a dream and won't give up on it. My kids are my greatest achievement and my heroes. They are turning out to be great people in spite of their mom and hopefully because of their mom.
