About Me

Mark Tyson, some call me Ineyard or Blue Nile. Guitarist, songwriter, producer, music teacher, single parent, hey that keeps me busy. I work with a bunch of bands and with my own group THE BLUE NILE X-PRESS, and in my home studio. We get the job done, all styles from Reggae/Caribbean, to African, Middle Eastern/Belly Dance, Funk, Hip Hop, Nu Jazz, Down Tempo, Old School(I can't keep up wit all the genres nowadays), strictly conscious music. Musical healing, using my music to uplift people and as a positive force. I make music for the soul, and you can get yo dance grove on too, like the yogi's say, you can't move your body and leave your mind behind, and vice versa. Music is a perfect science and universal language and we musicians should make music to heal this crazy sick planet. Word Sound & Power!! Lately I'm writing some funky, down tempo, swing, jazzy, call it what you like grooves and am looking for some singers/rappers to collaborate with, you got the voice and some lyrics, I got grooves for days, all styles. I'm workin with CuBase, Reason4, Live 6, Guru, Kontakt 2, Recycle, RMX Stylus, MPC, Guitar Rig, Amplitude Jimi Hendrix(wicked guitar sounds iya!), AmpegSVX bass module, crazy Swarm Synth, a bunch of stuff. Peace
