The rehabilitation and reintegration of me!

About Me

Crumbs aren't these things always so tough?! February 2005, the world was whipped away from under my feet. I've sulked a fair bit, detached myself a fair bit. And having held on to what I could, decided that it's not enough. No man can be an island, and no woman should either. So I figured I'd start branching out, see if that funny girl is lurking out there somewhere, and get back to living.I love my music, I love my CORPS (you know who you are), and I love my bands.I reckon these things are fairly remote, so rather than strain relationships with things I need to get off my chest, I thought I'd just float them out here, maybe it'll be good therapy. It all changes in 2007, and I have to be ready for it!

My Interests

Getting back on my feet. I've got 3 kids, and 2 dogs. I'm getting back into the daily grind, people always admire a good juggling act!Going on a tour would be nice! A holiday even nicer, but being totally debt free is the real ambition!!Other than that, I'm a fan of TV; books; music; food; drink all the usual suspects! And I'm quite clever with the whole crafts thing too. I can spin; weave; knit; crochet etc.I guess I'm one for all things really, easily pleased!

I'd like to meet:

Honest people.

Music:

Yep, lots of it, and loud, but varied depending on my mood. Best of all live though, as long as the CORPS are there!

Movies:

It's hard to have definitive answers for these! I enjoy lots of films, whether I want to watch them more than once, another matter entirely. But I like 'em funny and I like 'em scary sometimes. Stiller/Sandler films crease me up.And I like old school kung fu films too.

Television:

Yep and too much of it lately!

Books:

I like Clive Barker; Dan Brown kept me busy for a while; Harry Potter, I've read Narnia now, did not see the Bible comparisons coming at all! Have now turned to Eoin Colfer.

Heroes:

Tough one! I'm not going to name names, but there are a fair few ladies I know that I aspire to be more like. Safety girls! They're calm, funny, well liked, together, and have the best outlook on life. In the past couple of years I have strived to see things clearly, and I noticed that bitterness was creeping in. And that is so not who I am. I want to be one of the good guys again, and I am now embracing my inner rottweiler! It's needed as a defence mechanism, there are a lot of A-Holes out there, lol!

My Blog

Tired and feeling guilty.

I was supposed to do a big walk this weekend, but I haven't.  Instead I have been busying myself with trips to the dump, Ikea and Cranbrook.  All in the name of bettering my kids bedrooms...

Feeling decidedly unloved...

Cleaning out my closet...

I do it the same time every year, all the toot I've accumulated goes out the door.  And I'm fairly ruthless too.  I even take down all the Christmas decorations on New Year's Eve.  You...

It turns out, yes we can! There are several things that occupy my brain lately, getting my car through an MOT, the upcoming operation, and all the preparations for silliness on the tour and Xmas par...

Oh poo, and always fade out on a montage...

Pretty much sums it all up lately. I've not been feeling too well of recent, nothing serious, nothing obvious, just this underlying sense of ill. A giant helping of can't be arsed, coupled with no r...
