About Me

I am an art student living in the serene hippy surroundings of rural devon. I make bad art but hope to get better, I like pretty things, visual arts. photography, kitch and retro objects. I like to drink but am fighting a reputation as a boozer. I want to travel and explore, i am getting fit for the summer and heading to festivals. I hate politics because I dont believe there is or ever will be a solution. I like to paint my face, put on my glad rags and wave my arms around in dramatice gestures. I dont take drugs anymore because they made me lazy. I want to own an art gallery one day and live in an artistic, creative enviroment with cats and lovely people. I wish I never gave up the flute or guitar. I am a feminist when it suits me.

My Interests

Visual Art, movies, discovering and exchanging music, walking to country pubs, day dreaming, decorating my room, laughing, going to gigs, eating kids sweets especially tangy harribo, talking to the animals, Staying up all night creating pretentious phrases, singing in the shower, drinking pinot grigio and general drinking. Talking to my boyfriend on the phone about nothing and everything, contridictions, clashing colours, anything brown except poo, going to the gym then swimming then sauna, slagging off celebrities, inventing recipes, fantasing about being sung to by Nick cave, drinking beer with Tom waits and getting Vincent Gallo to make me cocktails. Dancing like a mad women is my favourite form of relase.

Movies:

Blockbusters suck apart from the odd visual gem. Pretty men make movies better. independent, thought provoking, exotic, strange, dark and darker, strangly apealing, the human condition, tortured souls, remakes of shakepeare and singing in the rain and i occasionally like a decent 'chick flick'
