About Me

I only joined Myspace because Esthero called me "Amish 3000" for not having done it sooner.
I listen to "Magic" by Olivia Newton-John off my record player most mornings (and I will skillfully sneak this onto your iPod when given the chance, so to have you shake your fist at me days later when you are on "shuffle" mode).
My imagination is hyper-mega-utra-active, my frame of reference is somewhat cosmic and still I appear to know nothing at all.
I have what the people have voted are: The World's Softest Arms.
I have performance anxiety where my Kozyndan colouring book is concerned.
Though I'm mostly a lover and not a fighter, somedays they have to be the same thing.
Am I the only one who notices that a person could likely spend more time IN Queen Video looking for a movie to rent than actually watching the movie rented, itself?
*This is a definite indication that it's winter in Toronto.
I'm non-threatening and unsuspecting (which makes my mission for world domination a breeze as I am stealthy and go undetected).
People seem to think that I've got the "in" or the "hook-up" when, unbeknowst to them, THEY are the "in" or the "hook-up".
I drink a lot of hot tea and have a bladder the size of a skittle... therefore I have spent 2 thirds of my life in or en route to the restroom.
I highly suggest listening to Harry Nilsson's "The Point" on a Saturday afternoon.
I am often embarrassed by some of my adventures.
People tell me I smell like cotton-candy.
I name most inanimate objects (almost obsessively).
Homeless people tend to feel a connection with me.
When at a restaurant, I refuse to order the same thing as someone at my table (but will always share).
I believe that I come from a long line of winged matadors, graceful double-bamboo stick-fighting samurais, grandmaster academia-nuts and balletic spearfishing imps that possessed astonishing aim... with their eyes closed. My ancestors also loved to play BINGO using tiny seashells beneath the cooling shade of a nipa hut while sipping on young coconut water.
Karaoke is an undeniable guilty pleasure that bubbles from the bottom of my blood.
I love Scrabble but can rarely find anyone to play with me (that said: I may strategically, though seemingly accidentally, leave a Scrabble board at your home, so that the next time I visit... "Hohumm. Oh wait, YOU have Scrabble HERE? Really? Can I see it?").
My name derives from the Spanish word for "Queen" and the Hebrew word for "Voice of Joy" (my middle name actually IS Joy and I scoff at how superfluous that is, really).
I am becoming the "crazy auntie/tita" to most of the little runts in my life.
DO MANY THINGS. HAVE FUN FOREVER.
MAKE COURAGE YOUR PARADE. - me
