About Me

Click here to get this skin for your profile! I am the one and only Skinny Black Man!
And I made a film!
As some of you know, in October some friends and I made a film in 48 hours for a competition called the National Film challenge. And when I say “made a film,” I mean, we received information from the judges, that was essential to the film on Friday night at 7 pm, so we wrote it, shot it, edited it, scored it, and sent it FedEx by Monday morning. Yes, it was a long weekend. And of the 200 and some odd contestants, our film was ranked in the top 15 by a judges panel and is up for Best Overall film as well as a few other awards. Along with those honors we are up for the Audience Award and you can help decide who wins. All you need to do is go to this link VOTE register and vote for “All I wanted was a beer” by PunchBelly (if you have more than 1 email address, I expect more than one vote) and then tell all of your friends and have them tell friends and hopefully at the awards ceremony in March we can walk away winner of the Audience Award.
Now some of my friends have sent out emails saying “watch them all and vote for ours if you think it’s the best.” I say poop on that! Vote for ours because you know me and think I’m a nice guy, who’s occasionally funny! And besides, if you do that, then I will treat you to a free stack of pancakes at IHOP. That’s right on Feb 20th, 2006, walk into any IHOP nationwide and tell them you want a free stack of pancakes, if they give you any trouble, tell them I sent you. In fact, just so there’s no confusion, I’ll deem it National Pancake Day, so everyone who walks in gets free pancakes. See what a nice guy I am?
Now, go and vote and do it quickly, voting ends on January 22nd. Tell lots of friends and enjoy the free stack of Pancakes!
