Jesus, People (ALL ages), Bulldog rescue, Animals, Travel, Cooking, Art, Music, Photography... almost everything interests me. Did I mention Jesus?
I'd like to meet:
All of you! I'm enjoying Myspace as a witnessing venue as well as a touchstone for prayer. I just cruise around at random clicking on folk's friends, etc and praying for them as I go. Sometimes I find spaces that are degrading, I don't stay; I leave and then pray for that person. If I find a space that especially touches my heart or feel led to, I ask for an add.
HERE'S A LIST OF GREAT LINKS:
My other sites:
ionanet
Your Bible on the web.
Look up passages & more.
Music:
I like all sorts except heavy metal (it makes my ears hang too low) and rap (I can't listen that fast). I like country and opera. Old rock is wonderful. Elvis is almost the King, but of course, the King of Kings is Jesus Christ. Have met and visited with Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Roseanne Cash and June Carter Cash. Nice folks, great talent... Of course the older Cash folks are with the Lord now. Love the Beatles... I could go on but would like you to stay awake.
Movies:
The Passion of the Christ, The Sound of Music, Amadeus, The King and I, Paint Your Wagon.
Television:
Food Network really cooks! Law & Order is cool. MONK is the greatest... He thinks like I do. LOL
Books:
The Bible. You've got drama, comedy (yes, it's true, God has a great sense of humor), romance, mystery... No matter what you like, the Bible's got it. I like the Encyclopedia and Dictionary. Very interesting reading. Computers have all but done away with printed encyclopedias, though, but dictionaries still abound. I also love biographies of regular, everyday people. Everyone has an interesting story although they may not realize it.
Heroes:
Jesus, of couse, is always ..ONE! Peter is a favorite hero because he dared to step out (not always wisely, but ever with passion) and he was always teachable. John Wayne is a hero to me. His real name was Marion Michael Morrison... The change was for the better. My favorite living hero is my husband Richard. Quiet and steady, he is the kindest man I know and perhaps the strongest.
