WE MUST GIVE OF OURSELVES When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."I'm whispering "I was lost,Now I'm found and forgiven."When I say... "I am a Christian"I don't speak of this with pride.I'm confessing that I stumbleand need Christ to be my guide. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not trying to be strong.I'm professing that I'm weakAnd need His strength to carry on.When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not bragging of success.I'm admitting I have failedAnd need God to clean my mess. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not claiming to be perfect,My flaws are far too visibleBut, God believes I am worth it.When I say... "I am a Christian"I still feel the sting of pain.I have my share of heartachesSo I call upon His name. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not holier than thou,I'm just a simple sinnerWho received God's good grace, somehow!
I like to:
write
sing
dance
act
try different foods and new things
watch scary movies on friday and saturday nights (that's family time)
I place my care's,my fear's,my loved one's,my friend's,my enemies,
all in the hand's of A Great King, even when at my weakest moment's it seem's as if He isn't there,He assure's me that in His arm's is where I am, along with all the burden's I carry(Psalm 46:1),(Isaiah 41:10),(Matthew 11:28)!! He promises to never fail me nor forsake me(Hebrews 13:5)!! If there is anything in this life I do trust,it's those FOOTPRINTS in the sand!!! I like being me!!One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the
footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
I must represent the most important thing in my life, the REASON for being, the PURPOSE of life, the JOY of living, the UNSHAKABLE ROCK that I stand on, the HOPE that can't be crushed, the only TRUTH out there that has standed the test of time, Giver of life and taker of life, in whom all will have to bow down one day either now or when their DEAD , the only joy giver, the only TRUTH that is not RELATIVE, In case you dont know, Jesus Christ, My God, My Savior. Get to know Him!
I love southern rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and Rossington Collins, to name a few. I love all types of music, there really isn't much that I don't like listening to.Country, rock, heavy metal, soft classic, alternative, techno, rap, christian, it all sounds great to me.
I love to watch my favorite movies on a rainy night, like Storm of the Century, The Lost Boy's, and, oooh, Thirteen Ghost! When ya got a big ole man ta cuddle up with like I have, well ya just got it like that! What can I say?
I like watching Lifetime movies, especially the ones that make me cry. I love true stories or stories that seem real. I hate reality show's and in today's world there are sooooo many that there is just no getting out of it, so I just shut the telly off! My favorite's will alway's be up close and personal, any bible story. Now that's a reality show that can bring you back to life. Let me get an Amen up in here!!!!!
As long as my faith in "HIM" is strong, I can overcome trials and tribulations!
The Cross In My Pocket
I carry a cross in my pocket,
A simple reminder to me
That I am a Christian,
No matter where I may be.
This little cross isn't magic,
Nor is it a good luck charm.
It isn't meant to protect me
From every physical harm.
It's not for identification
For all the world to see.
It's simply an understanding
Between my Savior and me.
It reminds me too, to be thankful
For my blessings every day,
And to strive to serve Him better
In all that I do or say.
When I put my hand in my pocket
To bring out a coin or a key,
The cross is there to remind me
Of the price He paid for me.
It's also a daily reminder
Of the peace and comfort I share
With all who know my Master
And give themselves to His care.
So, I carry a cross in my pocket
Reminding none but me
That Jesus Christ is Lord of my life,
If only I'll let Him be.
God's word is my book interest.Make it a must in YOUR life.Start living and learning the Truth in John 3:16
IN MEMORY OF STACY REGINA GIBSON:
THE ROAD TO PARADISE!
Share the love of Jesus
Let compassion fill your eyes
May others see so clearly
The road to paradise.
Find the peace of Jesus
Let serenity touch your soul
May others see so clearly
The proof of God's control.
Reflect the heart of Jesus
Let nothing block your way
May others see so clearly
The good you do today.
Seek the light of Jesus
Let prayer be your guide
May others see so clearly
The joy you cannot hide.
Pursue the truth of Jesus
Let justice set your sail
May others see so clearly
The way that will not fail.
Walk the path of Jesus
Let devotion set your pace
May others see so clearly
The conviction on your face.
Accept the gift of Jesus
Let Calvary pay your cost
May others see so clearly
