A Slight Case of Gingervitis

This next song I wrote after I killed a drifter to get an erection.

About Me

Blah blah, no one reads this anyways. I'm me...what do you want to know? I used to be a gymnast for 16 years of my life. I wanted to be a clown, so being a gymnast was the next best thing. I don't care so much for clowns anymore, but I still like those little cars they and the Shriners drive around in. I enjoy listening to music, talking and yelling with my friends, hiking, camping, going to see bands play, movies, etc. I'd rather hang out with some friends than doing the whole "lets go out" thing. I was a longhair, but I cut it. I've had no hair and green hair too boot. I usually have facial hair. Had the whole Amish thing going for a while, but that was a little extreme when I look back. I recently acquired a scar above my right eye. Wounds heal and chicks dig scars, right? I went back to school to take some classes part time. I just took a yoga class for the first time. I have a new found love for Neil Diamond.

My Interests

Music, movies, counter-culture, anthropology, sociology, different cultures, hiking, camping, concerts, ranting and raving about interesting topics, challenging thoughts, politics.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people who can have a conversation about odd things like trepanation. Creative and artistic people. Debaters, skeptics, and fools.

Music:

The Sisters Of Mercy, Curve (and other Dean Garcia projects), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tool, Concrete Blonde, NIN, Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Depeche Mode (not so much anymore), TV on the Radio, Ministry, Lords of Acid, Michael Denvir, bagpipes, b3's, steel drums, didgeridoos, Slowdive, Catherine Wheel, Ride, A Perfect Circle (and other Maynard projects), KMFDM, Pop Will Eat Itself, Marilyn Manson, Fuzzy Starf*cker, Jesus and Mary Chain, Sigur Ros, Breeders, Johnny Cash, Jane's Addiction, Tori Amos, Lycia, Love Spirals Downwards, Paul van Dyk, Primal Scream, the Cure, medicine, weezer, lush, garbage, moby, Tenacious D, Eagles of Death Metal, Kasabian, early 90's alternative, shoegazing

Movies:

Aliens, Abyss, Clockwork Orange, requiem for a dream, american history x, donnie darko, boogie nights, david lynch, lord of the rings trilogy, time bandits, 12 monkeys, fight club, kids, saving private ryan, moulin rouge, monty python, doom generation, reservoir dogs, conan, killing zoe, seven, bully, indie movies, documentaries.

Television:

Carnivale, Lost, The Office, documentaries (the weirder the better), Miami Ink, Man vs. Wild, Band of Brothers, The First 48, Family Guy is cool, IFC and Sundance channel, shows about animals, I think It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is laugh out loud funny, X Files, Harsh Realm, national geographic channel, real life detective shows.

Books:

I don't read very many books. I really should, but it always seems to be the last thing on my mind, but when i do, i like to read about interesting things about sex, drugs and politics usually. I also be reading my school books, i don't like fiction...Why Do People Hate America?, Plants of the Gods, Changing Sex, Drug War Addiction, Buzzed, Marijuana Myths Marijuana Facts, Amok Journal, Everything You Know Is Wrong, Abuse Your Illusions (most Disinfo books...check it on the web Disinfo), The End of Alice (whoa! a fiction book on the list), Codependent No More, Psychedelics Encyclopedia, Adbusters magazine, The Emperor Wears no Clothes, When Society Becomes an Addict. One book from one of my classes that I'm reading right is Tinderbox by Stephen Zunes. Its about the US Middle East policy and the roots of terrorism.

Heroes:

I don't really have any. But some musical peeps I really like are Andrew Eldritch, Maynard James Keenan, Dean Garcia among many. I took one of those political compass things. I was closest to Gandhi and The Dali Lama. So, I guess, through osmosis, they would be my heroes.
