GYPSIES A gypsy queen came from New Orleans, with eyes like embers in the night. She gazed into her ball, said "Madam'll tell all Things that will shock and delight." Nowhere could be heard a single word. Even the trees were in her spell. Her mysterious charm, cause for alarm; She was either from Heaven or Hell. The gypsy queen had a daughter, Earline. They say her skin was softer than silk, With an endless stare under jet black hair And a face like honey and milk. Her passion play was a thing they say that could rip the skin from your bones. Her smile betrayed her tender ways. You could see her dance until dawn.Gypsy James had a couple of names, an alias he used in town. Late at night under candlelight you could see him pouring whiskey down. He had a double-edge sword, called upon his Lord, when he did a dance among the flames. He walked across the coals; How he stirred their souls. He was just a wild Gypsy James. The gypsy caravan was a motley band, Like a hurricane, blew through the town. People made way for Gypsies that day Lured by their Pied Piper sound. On a starlit night when the air is light, You can hear their music 'til dawn. Their wicked ways are the Devil's praise. Leave them alone; they'll be gone.Gypsies like these are hard to please. They'll burn you in the heat of the night. Then get up & walk away with little to say, and leave you laughing in the light. Gypsies like these you can not trust and you'll never forget their smile. They'll burn out before they rust, but You love them, they're wicked and wild.Have you seen the gypsies? Wicked, wandering gypsies? Black leather bikers, wild hitchhikers, Hemingway writers, MMA fighters, A rockstar and actor with fame, By any other name, all the same Just gypsies...© Sandra Lee Myatt ANGEL: SARAH MCLACHLANI DON'T LOVE YOU: MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
Baby was a butterfly, wrapped in her cocoon. She was just an embryo; she would be born soon. The day they tore the forest down; she had to learn to fly. Baby was not ready; Guess it was "do or die".Wrap me in your body heat; wrap me in your love. Fit me like a second skin; suit me like a glove. Hide me deep inside your heart; never give me up. Wrap me, warm me, hold me in your body heat & your love.Buddy was a man of steel; he had a heart of stone. He could not think; he could not feel, spent his time alone. When he saw that lady there, wrapped up in her dreams, Black leather hit the dust, chrome engines turned to rust; That lady really made his Harley scream.Wrap me in your body heat; wrap me in your love. Fit me like a second skin; suit me like a glove. Hide me deep inside your heart, never give me up Wrap me, warm me, hold me in your body heat & your love.© Sandra Lee Myatt

..MYSTIFY (THE JUNGLE'S HOT)The jungle's hot; the race is on. The lion's in a no-parking zone. You...mystify. Your trainwreck's on the edge of time. Accident...Hollywood and Vine. You...mystify.I'd like to break your human chains. Take you from your earthly pain... You...mystify. Golden girls enter your world. 8 x 10 glossies, they unfurl. But do they mystify? The north wind's blowing in your soul. The alter-ego takes control. Through a mask, you mystify. You're running from the freezing rain. Shelter ahead...no pain, no gain. In the eye of a storm...mystify.You're running like a freed gazelle. Can't escape your earthly hell... Run to mystify. Move out of your comfort zone. The lion's roar will take you home. You...mystify.The jungle's hot; the race is on. The lion's in a no-parking zone. You...mystify. © Sandra Lee Myatt
********************* MUSICAL BACKGROUND: My earliest memories of music was listening to my father play a Gibson flattop guitar and sing in a beautiful tenor voice the songs of Hank Williams, Sr; Jimmy Rogers, Eddy Arnold, Pat Boone, & any contemporaries he could pick up. My father afforded me classical piano lessons beginning in the second grade. I was introduced to rock 'n roll when "Santa" delivered a gray portable record player and an Elvis Presley album. As I continued my lessons, I began playing for elementary school functions and church...going on to play four years for my high school chorus, my Dramatics class productions, and high school functions. My piano teacher, Ms. Blanchard, realized my love of pop music and did not dissuade me from mixing it with classical. As I entered Elon University, I picked up the guitar and began learning chords from a Peter, Paul, and Mary songbook...folk was the rage. Later, I purchased an electric guitar and learned the jazz-influenced chords of the Doobie Bros and Allman Bros bands. In the '70's I began focusing on lyrics. I played keyboards in both rock and country bands. My musical journey is ongoing. Who knows what stop is next? *********************

It's a rockstar night and you're burning bright... Sweet nebula, bathed in light The planets align...its a beautiful sight. Your arm's in mine...its a rockstar night. There's a Hidden Hand in the Universe... Great Creator of chapter and verse... A Master Plan that puts us first. It's a rockstar night...and we're burning bright. It's a scary thought what tomorrow will bring. We're Apollo's crew daytripping. Venus and Mars through the sands of time... Its a rockstar night...Put your hand in mine.I'll never forget your tender kiss. Your lips brushing mine on a night like this. I'll never forget your loving heart. This is the first day of a brand new start. On golden wings we would surely fly... Like a Golden Comet across the sky... Two shooting stars that would never burn dry... It's a rockstar night. It's a red carpet ride through the end of time... The Great Creator by our side... The promise of Everlasting Life...
