i aka Jon Robinson is a pioneer, and legend of sorts in Michigan Hip Hop history.Jon's career truly begins with the creation of the infamous label Federation Records. Jon, along with Rico Shelton (MGMT INC - Former management for Eminem's D12, current management for Jaquar Wright), and Dj AMF - Dj/Producer of artists such as SUN, Paradime (Kid Rock's Dj), Guilty Simpson, and others, started the label as a direct result of there not being a proper outlet for their group, nor any other quality acts in the State of Michigan.This legendary label brought forth acts such as: Phase II, II Bit Mob, Paradime www.dimesworld.com, Da Ruckus (Group member HUSH later signed to Geffen Records www.mchush.com), Bizarre of Eminem's D12, Da Brigade (Mr. Porter and Kuniva from Eminem's D12), SUN www.myspace.com/sunscienticuniversal, Binary Star (Group member One Be Lo later signed to Fat Beats Records www.fatbeats.com, as well as a host of other acts.Later Jon created a label called ReAL Entertainment. Jon along with Christopher Williams, and Don Ferguson worked together to bring forth acts such as: The Money Mogul, The Infamous PMC, Philpot (Wheatbread & Slum Village), 5 ELA (Group member, and at the time, current Source Battle Champion Proof (D12), came from this group), & Eminem's D12 (The underground EP).Again, each label was devised to provide a springboard for Jon as an artist. However, with the success of each label, his artistry was constantly pushed to the back, with the thought that "One day I will do me."Well that time has now come. The new group is AMF & i, and the new album will be called "The Thousand Days." The Thousand Days is a reach back to the time of President John F. Kennedy. President Kennedy was in office approx a thousand days. During that time it was a period historians refer to as "Camelot." Jon has the same reasoning behind the The Thousand Days now; In approx a thousand days, he will make his move into the proper perspective monetarily, as well as rank in the music world. This period of time will be "Camelot" for the listener, and fan alike.Once this tenure is complete. He will be gone.Enjoy.
