I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Started off rhymin at Central Michigan University. Met up with DJ Heavy and worked with him on a weekly college radio show, then called The Urban Exchange. Thats where Hev introduced JC to Jayem. After graduation from college, the 3 decided to take the next step and start recording in real studios, not just the basements and spare rooms. As "Common Ground", they had the opportunity to work with some of Detroit's finest producers including Lacksidaisycal/Ta'Raach, HouseShoes, and Waajeed. The first 3 beats were bought , written to, recorded, mastered, and pressed into their first 12". Landspeed helped get it out there. Due to all the coin JC was spending, he started Inquisitive Records to make it legit and write off them taxes. Lots of shows, studio sessions, shirts, stickers, promo discs, record pools, web sites, blah-blah-blah....From 2000-2003 JC and crew released the following:Common Ground; "Balance" "The Ground" "Sharin Poems", 12" Inquisitive Records.
Common Ground; Inquisitive Combos Chapter 1, 12" Inquisitive Records.
Common Ground; The Appetizer, CD Inquisitive Records.
The Ground; "All We Got", 12" Inquisitive Records.
DJ Heavy Heavy Rotation Vol. 5,6, and 7.Inquisitive Records also helped to put out Elevator Music "Vintage Soul: The Ta'Raach Project".Over the last few years JC has focused primarily on his family. Wife, kids, crib, dog, day job, etc. Stepping away from the rap game, yet still pursuing music. In July 2008 JC releases his first solo album; handling all the beats, rhymes, and recording.
