About Me
My name is Neal Bowen. I'm a working bassist, church musician, bandleader, and private instructor in the Memphis area. I play for churches, theater gigs, pick-up club dates, festivals, and really anything that comes my way. I've been fortunate enough to have played with musicians such as Jimi Jamison, Jackie Johnson, Tony Black, Shawn Lane, The Gamble Bros Band, Scott Sudbury, Carl Wolfe, and Rick Latham just to name a few. I also have a jazz trio, NB3 (The Neal Bowen Trio), and we play lots of corporate events, wedding receptions, and the occasional club gig. This music currently featured on my profile is me playing bass, piccolo bass, and keys and using Apple drum/percussion loops, with the exception of the *Donna Lee solo excerpt.(*Mike Assad-drums, James Kidwell-guitar)
