For the most part I am a man of unquenchable imagination. It is truly a beast that cannot be broken, nor bent. Writing is one of the ways to curb the demons of the soul. Another way is through strong drink, however that road can be rather crooked when in distasteful company. When I write the words flow from me as if they have no time for conscious thought. Boundless pires of knowledge and emotion spew forth. I find myself blissfully overrun by my own passions. Eventually the flames die down and I am re-born. A child of Zeus with a mortal mans heart..
Perfection is an illusion that some expect from us. Worse then that we often expect it from ourselves as well. I thrive on things that make me 'feel'.
If it were'nt for the painful times we might never recognize the blissfull moments in life. My pain is what makes me whole. Like Floater says: "One without sun, one without shadow, one without anger is one who's not whole." It's difficult to write about myself, as I only see me from the inside looking out. Therefore my interpretation of myself will always be skewed compared to others perception of me. Im sure it's easy to see my flaws, but those that look deeper will see the parts of me that truly shine. I have a deep need to be loyal and honest, especially to those that I hold dear. My heart seeks out truth and absolutely despises anything that attempts to stifle free thought. In some ways I consider myself to be a prophet that has lost his path. My purpose in life is to help those that need guidance and perhaps in turn find my own way.
'Losing the Human Race'
In all the candid interpretations we were to have When did history catch up to us?
Faces
Faces simply staring back in dumbfounded unison
Still the words rang out
This one interjection stains the surface of my thoughts
The sentence hisses in my ear
as parted lips give sound to breath
One of many brief interludes into gross imperfection
Wasn't there some kind of reasoning behind this?
And the wall we'd built so tenderly..
Did we lose ourselves in revelry
When all was said and done?
Was there something left along that sullen trail?
Perhaps a dream of someone else's
An Enigma striding through those beaten sands
Whimpering as the final stone falls into place
And all stood with eyes gazing towards the receding horrizon
Waiting for the words that would imbue a seamless inner calm
But there was only
Silence
Were we really that far from the answer we sought?
Only time will tell.
And time is but the redundant rambling's of a raven past it's prime...

I'd like to meet:

In regards to who I'd like to meet on here... Im mainly looking to meet people that share my passions. If you're a Floater fan, then you probably already share many of my ideals. Anyone smart enough to see all the corruption in the US government, the worthless plasticity of the corporate-controlled media, or the growing lack of concern for human rights in our society is encouraged to add me as a friend. I also love people with a sense of humor, I am quite a goofball myself. I'd also like to meet anyone that might be classified by society as odd, strange, or wierd. Any MSTies out there (you know who you are) are encouraged to add me as a friend as well.

Well, I've already met Rob, Dave & Pete of Floater so that covers a third of the currently living people I'd like to meet. Others in the currently living catagory include Bruce Campbell (I love the Evil Dead movies!!), Jim Gaffigan (so funny that you'll spit out your yoo-hoo), David Cross (one of the greatest comedians around today), Patton Oswalt (same here!), the Dali Lama, and myself from an alternate demension.

In the no longer living on our plane of existance catagory I'd have to say Jim Morrison, William Shakespear, Chris Farley, and my number 1 hero comedian Bill Hicks!

"The world is like a ride at an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, 'Hey – don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride ...' And we ... kill those people. Ha ha, 'Shut him up. We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real.' It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because – it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead, spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace. Thank you very much, you've been great." [several gunshots ring out, Bill mimes being hit and falls to floor, motionless.] -(Onstage closing comments of Hicks's Revelations special from 1993)

Learn it. Love it. Live it.

Heroes:

Bill Hicks is my all time hero!! In my opinion he was a prophet trying to save us from becoming mindless cattle for the government to milk dry. He saw the truth, he spoke the truth, he was the truth. Unfortunately the fates took him from us in 1994, he was 32. The man is an inspiration to me and all free thinking people the world over. You Wll be Missed, But NEVER Forgotten. Heres a great tribute page with tons of quotes and links. The Genius Of Bill Hicks
