Influences: I listen to a lot of Jamiroquai, Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Tower of Power, The Slip, and Maroon 5. My bass influences include Rocco Prestia, Jaco Pastorious, Chris Wood, Garrett Sayers, and Marc Friendman. I like finger style funk, notey and tastey.
Sounds Like: I try not to sound like anyone but myself. Of course I have serious influences that can be heard, but I strive for people to be able to recognize my tone and sound as my own as soon as they hear a few bars. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't!
