THE HOT LUNCH BOSTON STORY: HLB began in Jan. '06 at the Reel Bar (Allston) as a monthly party for queers and their buddies/ettes/i who want a strikingly sexy, radical and DIY alternative to gay nightlife, providing a big ol clusterfuck for anyone and everyone ready to rock, from bruttally punk gay boys, to post riot-grrls of yesterday, to trannies and queens fiercer than neon fire, to tattooed straight (ahem) boys, and so so SO much more of you that are now referred to as LUNCHERS! HLB grew bigger and moved to the Paradise Lounge (Boston) in August 2006. After much discussion with our LUNCHERS, we decided to move HLB to Great Scott (Allston) in January 2007 where we hosted our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY. We expanded in Oct. '06 by starting HOT LUNCH NYC at the Delancey, but this only lasted for two months. HLB went on hiatus for three months, but returned to Great Scott in May 2007 where we held our monthly residency. Our final party was on Sept 1st, 2007.
