Fast drums, screaming guitars, and enough conspiracy theories in the lyrics to make Michael Moore jealous. Thats The Bitter End. The band formed in early 2003, immediately gathered their material and busted their way in to the Atlanta punk/hardcore scene. They found a mix of punk, metal and a paranoid fear of everything that blends the best and worst of punk. Releases of their self titled debut and the follow up E.P,Under the Black Flag, followed. In early 2006 the band suffered a devastating blow when they received news that founding member and drummer David "Sherman" Overduijn had been killed in a hit and run accident as he walked home from a local bar. Long time friend Ryan Fox was tapped to help fill the huge void left by Sherms' passing. The band remains commited to their DIY ethics and pressing forward, fast and loud. The Bitter End dishes out their brand of punk in an unrelenting fashion through energetic shows and thought provoking lyrics. You'll find no happy ending here. Simply anger and a brooding resentment for the shit side of life.
