About Me

Check out the fabulous documentary Lo-Fi St. Louis put out! This has been a year in the making! I'm so excited! .. .. MyGen Profile GeneratorI am a performing fool! Everything else is icing on my delicious cake of a life:). I have been a professional burlesque performer for over 2 years. Dubbed, "The Derriere Beyond Compare", I sing, dance, m.c., hang from the silks, instruct in the art of tease, seduce, act ridiculous, and take off lots of my clothing in a clever and sometimes silly way. I am extremely happy. Life is amazing. I'm a relentless optimist, and a huge sappy-sapperton...I perform weekly with The Alley Cat Revue and monthly with the Cowboy Cabaret in St. Louis. I also produce various showcases and themed burlesque shows throughout the year. I have performed at Miss Exotic World in Las Vegas and at The Vancouver Burlesque Festival. I have also performed with Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans, The Belmont Burlesque Revue in Chicago. I've also performed with kick-ass bands such as Humanwine, Fishbone, and The Seven Shot Screamers. In addition I have performed in Houston, Miami and Kansas City. I absolutely love to travel and can't wait to spin the globe and pick where I go next! Hey lookie! I got some moooovies!

My Interests

Singing! Acting, Shaking my shimmy, shaking my bottom, dance of all kinds, music and rhythmic things that make want to shake said bottom, trapeze, silks, circus acts, rhythmic gymnastics, the lovely frauleins of the Alley Cat Revue, moments of clarity, deep breathing, conquering something difficult, cooking, eating, good wine, good friends, fairies, wings, being inspired, sexy accents, stupid jokes, film, photography, twirling, flowers, Mother Nature, flirting, animals, sparkles, tassles, things that are shiny, things that are soft, corsets, garters, feathers, tickle, tease, seduction, laughing, and world peace.Check out my videos from the Cowboy Cabaret!"Don't Tell Mama""Spoonful of Lola"

I'd like to meet:

You! In the audience, at Rue 13 on Saturday Nights (and any other place I happen to be performing:). It's a fabulous show. Singing, dancing, trapeze and silks, belly dancing, acrobatics, comedy, and general sass talking. There is something for everyone at the Alley Cat Revue! And it would make me oh-so-happy to see you there. I'd also like to meet Deutchlanders, foreign language speakers, booking agents, torch singers, circus artists, performance artists, exotic animals, belly dancers, acrobats, fire breathers, romancers, foodies, Burly-Q performers, Sassy sassbacks, people who like to laugh and make me laugh, painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, actors of any kind, people who love life, trees, and playing Twister

Music:

Henri und die Heisse Band, Gunther's Shimmy Shaker, The Frisky Frauleins...Also, Etta James, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, Dusty Springfield, Janis Joplin, Carla Bruni, The Beatles, Radiohead, Joanna Newsom, Sufjan Stevens, Tom Waits, James Brown, Prince, Portishead, The music from Cabaret, Chicago, Avenue Q, Hair(and lots of other musicals... yay musicals!) Television:

I have decent vision, but definitely not TELE-vision:)

Books:

The ones with really beautiful women in them:) I also love Neil Gaiman, David Sedaris, Jeff Smith, Craig Thompson, and I'm sure I'm forgetting lots. I love fairy tales, and stories that make me laugh. Remember children, reading is magic!

Heroes:

All brave, creative, and lovely people. I love those people. I just recently met an 80 year old woman who just started training on the lyra so she can perform at her 80th birthday party. When I chatted with her she told me she ran away at 18 to be a show girl and a bareback rider in the circus. Now she teaches prisoners Shakespeare (she still rides. She also told me she took her daughter (who was 12 at the time) to see "Evelyn West and her Tresure Chest". Then she told me I was beautiful and asked if she could see me perform. I am amazed by her:)
