Burlesque Sensation Perle Noire the Black Pearl and New Orleans Socialite Margarita Bergen Presents " Gowns and Tassels" a Burlesque Benefit. This one of a kind benefit brings Burlesque and Fashion together.
The benefit will include Performances from Burlesque Queens, Poets and Special Surprise Guest . Join us for an evening of decadence and beautiful gowns. You will be in heaven as you soak up the latest fashions during a spectacular runway show from designer Ottilie Brodmann.
All proceeds will go to Perle Noire's" Vegas or Bust!!" Campaign in a pursuit to compete and win at the 2010" Burlesque Hall of Fame Pageant" to be crowned Reigning Queen of Burlesque.
Perle Noire began her Burlesque Career in 2005 at the World Famous Tipitinas in New Orleans. Since then she has performed from New Orleans to London with Burlesque Royalty, including Bonnie Dunn, Cathrine D'Lish and Immodesty Blaize.
On her quest to the top she has won two awards at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Pageant, 2008 Best Debut and 2009 Second Runner Up. Perle Noire is determined to become the first Burlesque Queen from New Orleans and to join the legendary Burlesque Queen Josephine Baker in the Official Burlesque Hall of Fame.Please join us October 28 7pm at Allways Lounge ( Marigny Theatre)
