In the year 2000, Mic-Nif formed a hip hop group called the Luminous Twinz which is where he began his career as an MC. In 2002, the Luminous Twinz, were the winners of the Young Creative Minds Award on MTV (NL) with the song Stolen Lives.In 2003, Mic-Nif was the winner of the Main Freestyle Battle Event of The Hague, NL. After the separation of the Luminous Twinz, Mic-Nif recorded his first solo album DISTORTION OF THE TRUTH, which is expected to be released in May 2007. The album portrays a general overview of Mic-Nif's vision of life.In 2004, he teamed up with a well known hip hop crew from the Netherlands called NuClear Family (NCF) and became a member of the group. A year later, the NuClear Family released their 2nd album NUCLEAR FISSION where Mic-Nif played a steady role. The album was awarded as the best album of The Hague (NL) in 2005. Together with the NuClear Family, he performed for big crowds and has done support acts for various well known hip hop artists i.e. Guru (Gangstarr), Promoe (Loop Troop), Jus Allah (Jedi Mind Tricks), Insight, Wu Tang Killa Bees, Shabazz The Disciple, Delinquent Habits and many more... Mic-Nif has performed on numerous (core) stages in the Netherlands (Paard van Troje, Melkweg, Asta, 013, Night Town, Grand Price (Zuid-Holland), Koninginnenach, The Hague Hip Hop Festival, Park Pop Festival as well as many other venues) throughout different cities.From the Luminous Twinz to the NuClear Family (and now, to his own band), Mic-Nif has proved that he can touch hearts and make heads nod with his unusual lyrical abilities. However, he is a down to earth as well as easy on the ear MC who spits conscious rhymes over touching beats. Moreover, Mic-Nif has recently put together a live band with whom he plans to rock crowds. SEPTEMBER 6, 2007 MIC-NIF WILL RELEASE HIS LONG AWAITED ALBUM "DISTORTION OF THE TRUTH"!!!
