After releasing the album Sober with his band Stümper in 2003, guitarist/ vocalist Pieter van Hoogdalem decided to approach his next recording project with a clean slate: no set parameters whatsoever.
The forthcoming album Sunset Cruisin’ promises to be packed with adventurous, emotional, hard-hitting and simply great songs.

After years of musical training on baroque oboe, Pieter van Hoogdalem traded his precious windinstrument for a crappy guitar, a poor-working transistor amp and an AA-battery powered philips microphone.. and never looked back!
Since then Pieter performed in numerous ensembles performing orginal material, as well as cover acts and showbands; always feeding his appetite for musical variety and cross over. In recent years these efforts have resulted in various studio-recordings as a sideman, a first solo-release in 2003 (Sober by Stümper) and an upcoming release by Pedro (label: PVH Music).
