About Me

Spring is on the bloom and we Enablers are nearly finished with our third record. We got started a week after touring in April and went on lockdown here at Closer Recording in San Francisco. Here in this little compound a beautiful combination of insanity and outright clarity somehow emerged and continues to do so. The residual energy from the tour has played a large part in this, and for that we thank all of you who have remained or have become friends and fans. Pete is off to Brooklyn following his heart, which means we will all be flying just a little bit more often. Speaking of flying we will be at the Sled Island Festival in Calgary, Canada on June 27 and 28 of 2008. You can see us again in the UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the country of New York City in between Aug 25 and September 27 of 2008. Specific dates will be posted soon. And as usual....our single sided 12 inch 45rpm epic on Awesome Vistas records out of Portland Oregon is NEARLY SOLD OUT!!! (distribution by Revolver/Midheaven) Our good friend Chris Johanson absolutely ruled the artwork, illustrating Pete's story in a multi-layered schizophrenic city scape. Please check out www.lancashireandsomerset.co.uk for a cool split seven inch with Enablers and Red Panda. Be sure to check out their other releases too. Also go to www.midmarchrecords.com for our first LP "End Note" on delicious vinyl (almost sold out!!!)as well as other cool releases. Of course you can find our CD's at www.neurotrecordings.com along with the entire killer Neurot catalog. Please stay in touch and we will do our best to keep up with all y'all. Do an "enablers" search on youtube for some very new video action too! .................. Thank You.....Enablers: Joe Byrnes...drums. Joe Goldring...guitars. Pete Simonelli...words. Kevin Thomson...guitars.(Pete's book "Night Sees You First" available at www.cafepress.com/savageward, his new book, "A Lonely War" is at Lacashire and Somerset.co.uk)

Salutation

We’ve been home a week (with the exception of Goldring, who opted for another nine days in the Mediterranean) and we are reasonably settled. An easy flight, nary a bump, and now I’m person...

Om ruled me

Saw Om tonight. I'm not surprised by their performance. I got what I wanted. The CD, Conference of Birds, was my only reference to the band. I'd seen Sleep and remember them visiting 2495 Harrison St....
