I am the founder, producer and host of Radio Free Biker
which was the first podcast for the motorcycle community which featured news, guest interviews, mechanical/maintenance advice and the events calendar.
Currently we are restructuring and soon will be re launching the RFB show.
Initially this was suppose to be a My Space page dedicated to the motorcycle podcast, but as the show went on Hyades the site has turned more as a personal page. Along with Radio Free Biker I am also in works with Burning Wheel Productions as we are in the making of a competition based reality show called 'the Prospect' and theme revolves around... You guessed it the biker world
I've based the show with some of experience of riding in a
local motor cycle club. Known as the Barbary Coast MC. Not quite a 1% outlaw club but still a little edgier then say 'Wild Hogs'
The show will more geared towards family entertainment
that will promise lots of high octane energy, drama and a few laughs.
As for me, there is a lot more to me then just
my motorcycling life style. I also have a passion about traveling. Some how I was born with a bad case of wander lust. If it's not getting on the bike with the guys in my club and riding off. Maybe I'll end up abroad somewhere. Whether its hanging in a trippy little bar in Prague or at a Bhuddist temple in Thailand, facing off with a bull elephant in South Africa or taking on the Himalayas in Nepal.
Some of my experiences included being a Marine, a Teamster, a promoter for a Rock club in LA, world traveler, author, actor, film making, web designing, talk show host, journalist, biker, adventurer, artist, entrepreneur, political activist, negotiator, an organizer, lover,a spouse,a son and brother. OK what did I leave out?
There's still quite a few things I need to do, more places to see and experiences to have before its all over.
New people to meet and old friends to get in touch.
Yet to have the opportunity that I already had in my life that others could only dream of, I have to say that I am quite fortunate and very grateful to have lived such a rich an exciting life.
As Oscar Wilde once quoted "the World is my Oyster"
So I look at my life and the world as one big smorgasboard where I will sample a little of everything and what I like I'll go back for seconds.
Now after experiencing it all perhaps I figure its that time in my life where I should start focusing outward towards helping others in what ever manner the calling comes. Either directly or indirectly in helping those around me possibly indirectly. Whether its delivering food and supplies into the war zones of Darfur in a UN convoy or serving food to the homeless at a Tenderloin Mission here in town on holidays or just participating fund raisers for those who most need it. With today's state of the world if there is ever a time that we must pitch in. This is it,
Either we all sink individually or stay afloat and swim together.
