TREDEE FROM THE COLLECTIVE FLOW

About Me

BORN AND RAISED IN THE HOME OF HIP HOP, THE BOOGIE DOWN BRONX. SOUTH BRONX THAT IS. TRE'DEE WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNINGS, BEFORE IT WAS GIVEN THE NAME HIP HOP AND BEFORE EM-CEES BECAME RAPPERS. WE, THE FIRST GENERATION OF WHAT IS KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AS HIP HOP, WERE THROWING JAMS IN THE PARKS, THE COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND VARIOUS SCHOOLS AND CLUBS AROUND THE BRONX AND LATER THROUGHOUT NYC AND THE TRI-STATE AREA IN THE MID 70'S TO EARLY 80'S. RAISED IN THE CASTLE HILL SECTION OF THE BRONX, TRE'DEE WAS A MEMBER OF THE SOUND MASTER CREW. THE FIRST NUMBER 1 M. C. WHOM ALL WANTED TO BATTLE BUT COULD NEVER DEFEAT. MANY VIEW TRE'DEE AS THE ELDER BROTHER OF "JUST-ICE", THE ORIGINAL HIP HOP GANGSTER, WHO WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE SOUND MASTER CREW, ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS FROM CASTLE HILL SUCH AS; DJ PILL AND DJ DEE. DJ GRAVETTE AND DJ K.P.(RIP). THE MC'S WERE TRE'DEE, SHELT LAROCK, EASY DEE, KOOL KEVSKI, SIR NOSE, AND LATER ON JUST-ICE, THE ORIGINAL HIP HOP GANGSTER. THE SOUND MASTER CREW HAD CLOSE TO 200 MEMBERS WHO WERE BACKED BY VARIOUS MEMBERS OF THE SAVAGE SKULLS, BLACK SPADES AND LATER THE ALMIGHTY ZULU NATION. THE SOUND MASTERS WERE ONE OF THE BADDEST CREWS OF THE TIME. AND NO ONE WANTED TO BATTLE THE SOUND MASTERS. AFTER THE SOUND MASTERS BROKE UP, TRE'DEE, ALONG WITH DJ IZICATAA(ZULU KING), DJ SONNY D.(AKA COOL VEE), RAYDEEN(RIP), DEE DELIGHT, PELE PEL, DOC ICE (THE ORIGINAL CHIEF ROCKER) FORMED THE JAM MASTERS. THESE WERE THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS OF THE JAM MASTER CREW AND THE MASTER 5 EMCEES. LATER DOWN THE ROAD, THE JAM MASTERS ACQUIRED A FEW MORE DJ'S AND EMCEES WHICH INCLUDED EMCEES DESTINY AND LIL LEE, DJ PIPELINE, DJ RODDY ROD, AND THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL WAS DJ LIGHTNING HANDS BILLY BOY. THIS CREW WAS BACKED BY THE BAMBAATAA AND THE ZULU NATION. THE JAM MASTERS WERE ROCKING THE SEEN TO A POINT THAT THEY INSPIRED ANOTHER GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS TO FORM THE "LIL JAM MASTERS". THIS GROUP CONSISTED OF 5 DJ'S AND 5 EMCEES. DJ'S DOC.STRANGE, COOL CUTSKI, ALLEY POOH, BARCEE, AND ROCK KNIGHT. THE EMCEES WERE WILLIE DEE, KID FINESSE, COOL KID SUPREME, CELO, AND TIH'REE. EVENTUALLY THE JAM MASTERS ALSO BROKE UP AND TRE'DEE MOVED ON WITH ONE OF HIS PARTNERS FROM THE SOUND MASTER CREW, WHO WAS NOW A DJ. DJ EASY-DEE AND DJ POPSKI ALONG WITH THE DEADLY 3 EMCEES CAME TO BE KNOWN AS THE NEW CREATION CREW. THE DEADLY 3 WERE THE BADDEST EMCEES KNOWN IN THE AREA. TRE'DEE, PELE PEL, AND THE MASTER WESS WERE THE DEADLIEST. NO ONE COULD COMPETE WHEN THESE 3 WERE ON THE MIC. LATER ON, THE DEADLY 3 ACQUIRED A FEMALE RAPPER WHO COULD DEFINITELY HOLD HER OWN. SHE WAS ONCE A MEMBER OF THE INFINITY EMCEES AND WENT BY THE NAME OF KIMBA. KIMBA WAS NO JOKE. BUT DUE TO UNFORSEEN EVENTS, THE NEW CREATION CREW ALSO BROKE UP. DURING THE YEARS RANGING FROM 1976 -1984, TRE'DEE STILL HELD ON TO THE TITLE OF BEING CASTLE HILLS NUMBER 1 EMCEE. AFTER THE NEW CREATION HAD DISBANDED, TRE'DEE BECAME A SOLOIST AND ALSO HAD MOVED FROM CASTLE HILL AND BEGAN GOING THROUGH ALOT OF TRYING AND CRITICAL TIMES IN HIS LIFE, MOVING FROM ONE BOROUGH TO THE NEXT. IN 1988, TRE'DEE MET WITH TWO BROTHERS FROM FOREST PROJECTS IN THE BRONX. GIL KNOX AND T.L. ROCKWELL WERE KNOWN AS HIGH TECH COMMITTEE AND TOGETHER WITH TRE'DEE THEY PRODUCED A SONG NAMED BOOGIE DOWN BRONX ON ROUGHOUSE RECORDS. IT WAS SHORT LIVED. EVENTUALLY TRE'DEE MOVED BACK TO BROOKLYN AND THEN QUEENS AGAIN UNTIL 2002 WHEN HE RETURNED TO THE BRONX. IN 2002, TRE'DEE REUNITED WITH 2 OF HIS FRIENDS NAMED FABULOUS FRED AND THANDEKA, AKA TIM TECH AND FORMED ANOTHER CREW CALLED C.O.B.(COMMITTEE OF THE BRONX AKA CIPHER OF BLACKNESS). C.O.B. WAS SHORT LIVED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. IN 2005 TRE'DEE WAS INTRODUCED TO S.O.A.Q. BY EDDIE ROCK aka GRAND MASTER ANT. RIGHT AWAY, S.O.A.Q AND TRE'DEE HIT IT OFF. S.A.O.Q. BEGAN PULLING OTHER ARTIST TOGETHER; IE, LADY HOLLY, T.HAYES EL, AND RIA SADE. LADY HOLLY, WHOM ALL REFER TO AS QUEEN MOTHER HOLLY, BLESSED US WITH THE NAME OF "THE COLLECTIVE FLOW". WE SOON AFTER CREATED OUR FIRST CD WHICH IS SELF TITLED, "COLLECTIVE FLOW". 13 SONGS WITH 12 OF THEM CREATED BY EDDIE ROCK. AFTER THIS FIRST CD, OUR NEWEST MEMBER TO "THE COLLECTIVE FLOW", "4RON", JOINED US. HE HAS PROVEN TO BE A VALUABLE ADDITION TO THE GROUP AND HAD ALREADY COMPLETED HIS FIRST SOLO CD TITLED,"THE START UP". TOGETHER WE HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO BE UNSTOPPABLE. THE COLLECTIVE FLOW HAS GRACEFULLY TOUCH MANY STAGES AND AUDIENCES WITH IT'S UPLIFTING STYLES OF CONSCIOUS HIP HOP, SPOKEN WORD, R&B, DANCE, AND LOVE SONGS WHICH HAVE PROVEN TO BE VERY EDUCATIONAL AND FULL OF ENJOYMENT TO THE MASSES.
