HELLO!!My name is Dj Ian. I run a Promotions, Tour Support, Management and Booking Agency called RocketRide Promotions UK. You can find out a little bit more about that side of things by checking out my other myspace www.myspace.com/rocketridepromotionsuk This little bit of space here is for me to get to know those of you out there who like me share a passion for rock n roll.I live in Hull (kinda like the wart on your arse - you know where it is but you rather wish you didnt..) where i run my business and I also DJ on the local radio station(BBC Radio Humberside)doing the Ian Glenn Wright Rock Hour with James Hogarth usually the 1st Wednesday of the month at 9pm. I play a cracking mixture of 70s, 80s, 90s and current rock music - or whatever takes my fancy on the night and its usually damn good!! Its always rather alarming when you listen to local radio and hear the turd thats coming out the speakers - its usually so damn bland is'nt it? So i figured i would try and bring the system down from the inside - what other major radio station would give you : Silvertide, Waysted, Koritni, Hardcore Superstar, Killer Dwarfs, Enuff z Nuff, Gotthard. Social Distortion, Replacements, Lightning Bolt, Starz, Newlydeads, Heavy Pettin, Glenn Hughes, Ugly, TNT, Q5, TKO, Quireboys,Richie Kotzen,Neal Casal, Kix plus many more????I have booked and promoted artists such as Warrior Soul,Robin Black, Trashlight Vision, Quireboys, La Guns, Vain, Red Star Rebels, Karn8, Deathstars, Dirty Rig, Disarm, Laika Dog, Crystal Pistol, Hydrogyn, Adam Bomb and more. 2008 looks like being even better than 2007 so if you like great music keep checking back. Upcoming tours include Hydrogyn,US Supergroup 3 Legged Dogg, BIG LINDA and the best band in the fucking world UGLY!!!!! My Interests

Music is obviously my main passion as you can probably tell but i also enjoy watching classic Woody Allen movies, getting out to gigs, going to the gym when i can be arsed and travelling the world. Done the USA and Oz and loved it so now i wanna see some more of Europe.....Prague and Sweden next me thinks.
