We're a small but fierce sound/art/dance composers' collective
dedicated to the pursuit and advancement of maximum
clarity, purity, & accuracy as approached through a
scrupulous disorganization, and we merrily perform a
pulpy he-mix of gamelan, tape music, folksong, raw
drone metal, improvisation, and shout art that is guaranteed
to entertain and encouraged to illuminate. American
Hornets travel with all conceivable manner of
instruments, amplification, facemasks, puppetry, publicity machines, and sound material to ensure that every
performance responds adequately to the accidental constraints and
willful jubilations of its space & audience. Unconditional
