Hi I'm Tanti. I'm passionate about supporting live music especially emerging artists. I've been going to gigs for more than 30 years. My first concert was in 1975 when I was 12 and I saw The Glitter Band supported by Hush at the Hordern Pavilion. I was hooked and soon followed up with concerts by The Sweet, Bay City Rollers and aussie bands Supernaut and Taste. TV shows like Countdown, Sounds Unlimited and radio 2SM formed my love of music in my teenage years. I have great memories of gigs throughout the '80s, '90s and '00s in Australia and abroad.Although my moshpit days are over, I'm still a rock chick and will seek out a cool electric guitar riff to make my day. On the other hand, I get the same enjoyment from watching singer-songwriters bare their souls with an inspiring acoustic set. I feed off the creative energy from watching an artist perform; I love it!A few months ago I started freelancing within the music industry. Although I am still learning and discovering where I fit in, I am fortunate enough to be working with some amazing and talented artists.I also co-host PopTarts with Amanda Easton on Tuesday nights at the Unity Hall Hotel in Balmain where we showcase female-fronted independent artists. Come join us and support original local live music. See you there!
