Our Ass is Being Hoisted by Our Own Damn Petard!

About Me

Much suspected by me, Nothing proved can be, Quoth Elizabeth prisoner.
I love Sci-Fi, Amelia Peabody and Ayn Rand. I am boisterous and believe in being positive as much as I can! I like red lipstick.
I'm an actress in Los Angeles, as well as an independent writer and producer. My darling husband just directed me in a short I wrote, "Prostitution for Fun and Profit" - coming soon to a Film Fest near you! It's getting great reviews. Said my mother, "Martti, you are a strange girl!" She should know.
Editing on "Prostitution" is on hold for a bit, as we finalize "Mild Mannered", a comedy pilot starring, written and directed by my (said) hubby Marc. It will be dubuting at the New York Television Festival in September 2007! Check out the trailer below~
"Martti and Kim's Story of... [Abridged]" is a pilot I have co-written and produced (see my 1st friend below)! The show won Best Educational Pilot at the New York Television Festival 2006. It's educational, but not boring. Think Monty Python meets the Travel Channel's Samantha Brown. Kim and I continue shopping the pilot and ourselves, and we've got several treatments about town :)
See the entire pilot below!

My Interests

Acting, writing, singing, frolicking, lurking, being goofy while doing all of the above. Vintage clothing.
You are Bettie Page
Girl next door with a wild streak
You're a famous beauty - with unique look
And the people like you are cultish about it What Famous Pinup Are You?
My score on The Classic Dames Test :

Katharine Hepburn
(You scored 19% grit, 23% wit, 57% flair, and 16% class!)

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.Find out what kind of classic leading man you'd make by taking the Classic Leading Man Test.

New York State of Mind

I wonder if all sadness is unfulfilled promise.  But at least there's promise. I need more cold meds.  Or less.
