EDISON
See I work with some really talented people;
Nic Fancuilli we got two bands The Buick Project and Skylark and we run this label called Saved Records. Richard Norris, our band is called The Droyds, Anna Mercedes on Demeter.
Anyway I wanted to spend sometime working my myself in the studio and so my alter ego - 'Edison' was born....

First thing up was 'Heart Of Glass', by Blondie. I was working in LA mixing a track for the Pussy Cat Dolls album and one way or another I got the original parts to Heart Of Glass directly from Blondie
I did this cut up / mash up thing - it sounded wacked, I sent it out to Pete Tong and a few other DJ;s I know to play it out, a few weeks later hear it on Pete's show on Radio 1, better let Blondie hear this I think.....she did and she loved it...promotion starts next month....and I just saw the video....its cool
So thats how 2006 started. Anyway so I have nearly finished writing this Edison album...glitchy electronic hook fest.....

.but got sidetracked with about 100 remix offers... anyway the ones I did so far as Edison are
Justice Vs Simian - 'Never Be Alone' - I added about 30 backing vocals singing the chorus to making it sound like cheerleaders - kind of sound like school kids ala 'The Wall' and this amazing Stone Rose's esque guitar created and played by the brilliant Ben Vella of 'Deaf Stereo'

Just did the new Muse single 'Starlight' and the new Scissor Sister remix and a glitchy rave acid house mix of Xara & Criminal - '5000kw' (Deeper Substance)
