I don't know what to say today

About Me

So...me. Um... I like music and going to gigs. That's an understatement. I like making friends with real people on here. I live just outside Nottingham city centre which means I can walk/cycle to work with my mp3 player on, singing along like a lunatic.

I'm on facebook, but I don't like it, so please don't try to find me. I'm quite happy here with my music, thank you very much. Speaking of which, I really should spend less time on here and more time practising on my piano...

My Interests

Music, photography, playing squash, cycling, almost never playing golf (in that order). Here are some photos:

See music. Basically anyone who can play an instrument (well) and/or sing (in tune). And people who stick to their morals and see things through. Oh, and him...

My Blog

Yum

I've been craving this all week: (no, I'm not) This, on the other hand, is a bit worrying:   Anyone who wants to sponsor me for race for life (even though I did it last weekend - in a painfully...

The pool and the lakes

I've put this under writing and poetry, not because that accurately describes it, but because I've been reading a book by Simon Armitage (a poet) called Gig (i.e. not the book I've said I'm reading be...

I can feel it

I’ve finally managed to motivate myself to start training for race for life. Here’s what I did. I ran for 20 minutes. And I walked for 20 minutes. Not necessarily in that order. And not re...

NZ revisited

I thought I'd finish my NZ blog, now I've been back longer than I'd care to remember. So here we go...minimal commentary as usual. So we'll start with Christmas Day... And move quickly on to the 3 da...

Run for your life

Hello avid readers. I won't go on at length, and there's no pressure to give if you don't want to. God knows there are thousands of charities and they're all valid to someone. Who am I to criticise yo...

Well, I’ll be lightning!

I've just bought Liam Finn's album. Yay! It only took me 3 weeks searching every record shop we passed to find it.

As demanded...

We're at a tiny resort-type place called Lake Tekapo and I've done nothing since we got here except swim and sunbathe...so I thought it was about time I did some work! As usual I'll let the pictures ...
