Compton, Ca…. The murder capitol of the world; the home to Rob G of Green Up Entertainment since birth. Amongst the treacherous streets and rough neighborhoods he was forced to pick between evil and good. Listening to the hardcore rhymes of N.W.A was how he related the tests of life and stresses of growing up in one of the toughest hoods in the world. He evolved as an artist while studying the art of rappers lyrics like Dr. Dre, Easy E, Tupac Shakur, Nas, and Cannabis. It was the fact of taking care of his family as a young adolescent that made his decision to work hard at something positive in his life. He divulged his life in music and basketball growing up to get away from the streets. Rob G participated in the 2004 USC talent showcase to gain stage performance experience while evolving as not only a rapper, but also a recording artist. Today at 24 years old, Rob G has gone on his path to success being featured on the “The West In Fullâ€, while in the studio recording his album with group members Manson and West Flame of Green Up Entertainment. On May 24, 2006, Rob G and Roccett (met in 2000) opened up for the platinum recording group Mob Deep at the Vault in Long Beach, California. Well on his way…well prepared.What really hood peoples....Look I just wanted to encourage everybody to keep there heads up. And to not let negative individuals stop you from doing what ever it is you do. But to use that negativity to push you forward to succeed and excel.
