Growing up, hip hop was always around. Everyone in his family loved it. At the age of 13, he began to play with it, he started to rap for fun. He didn’t think anything of it, other than something to do. His cousin was involved in Low Life Ent. and he wanted to test his skills. He rapped for him, but his cousin didn’t think he was good enough for his record label. He took that personal and didn’t believe he wasn’t good; so he kept at it and practiced. Still, he wasn’t good enough for Low Life Ent. This put him in an aggravated state; he believed he was good, but someone else didn’t, so he set out to prove them wrong. He started Hillside Hustla Ent. At the beginning, he couldn’t afford to put cd’s out like his cousin or advertise. He was determined to put his record label at the top, by all means. As a full time involvement in Hillside, his part time job helped pay for all the equipment they needed, a good software program to record, professional microphones, and a reliable computer to put it all together. At the age of twenty, he created his own studio. Unlike most upcoming artist, this studio is in the grasp of his hands, located in his own home.
Constantly rapping and writing, $DYNO$ had perfected his style and have made many songs. He draws inspiration from none other than, himself. He feels he is his own critique. He doesn’t look up to anyone because he feels he is his own. Everyone is different and he does what he feel sounds good. As upcoming West Coast rapper draws inspiration from stars like Snoop or Game, he knows that putting out the raw material and hot tracks will get him to the top. That is how you are respected in this industry. Shortly after releasing their first mixtape, “No Taxs,†there were many negative feedback. Critics bashed their abilities to rap and record. They pointed out that the team needed to take breathing classes, a better producer and needed ghostwriters. This helped the team and $DYNO$ to work even harder on their next mixtape. “American Mafia†mixtape had the audience awed and amazed. Everyone loved it, all feedback coming through the lines were nothing but positive. As the president, $DYNO$ released this mixtape with the mindset of just giving them out, but everyone he handed it to were willing to pay. Already knowing the contents through their myspaces and website, everyone was rapping along to this mixtape.
Transforming Hillside Hustla Ent. from just a record label to a whole empire, was possible by collaborating with 2nd Hustle Clothing and Ashberry Clothing. Together, they will build an empire to stand strong and overcome any obstacle that comes their way. All this made possible by a young man who had big dreams, great determination, and the ability to compromise; $DYNO$.
