Sophya Grace was born and raised in Italy, in a small town but she showed interest and talent for music since she was 4.She enjoyed singing and doing showcases, dancing also and playing the piano. Trained classically as a piano player when she was 9 for about 3 years, she started writing her own material at age 9.She developed her songwriting talent at age 15 and Italian and European producers started showing interest for her. At age 15 she started being part of an African hip hop group from Senegal, releasing an album which sold 5000 copies in Africa and Europe.The smashing single was I remember yesterday.At age 20 Sofia won a scholarship for a famous US music school and eventually decided to live in US and pursue her dream and music career.She’s currently working on her album and doing showcases in the city mostly.Sophya Grace is currently working with exceptional musicians.Photography by Yann Feron www.yannferon.com
