Singer. Songwriter. Producer. Indelible. Nathaniel, 19, started singing in local churches and talent competitions with the encouragement of his mother who trained Nathaniel along with his two brothers and their two friends. Calling themselves "No Identity," the group went from fooling around with singing songs by the likes of Boyz II Men and the Drifters to translating that talent onto the stage of the world famous Apollo Theater. No Identity soon branched off into the equally successful group Mr. Peterson, comprised of the three brothers who were the creative force behind the arrangement of most of No Identity's music. As Mr. Peterson, the three brothers created hits, including: Dime Girl, All I Need, The Anthem, Crazy, Forever; and, classics like Father, Mama Raised Us, and Til U Come Home (a tribute to our brave men & women in the armed forces). Though short-lived, Mr. Peterson went on to win Urban Threshold's Underground Music Award for Best Male R&B Group of 2008.Striving to put Brooklyn back on the map, Nathaniel as a solo artist writes, performs, and arranges songs that are as much club bangers as they are influential. Garnering a youth movement in every sense of the phrase, Nathaniel often lends his talents to events that promote the uplifting of young people while providing awareness to major issues that affect us all. Nathaniel has featured in shows like The Annual Week of People hosted by HUB Ent., Newark's campaign to stop the violence; Covenant House's first Annual "Youth Explosion" raising awareness of the services offered by Covenant House to troubled youth and families; "Cover Up", an event by Silent Voices to increase AIDS awareness in which Nathaniel performed the memorable anthem Get Tested; and, ME Divas' Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention music series.Ever optimistic, Nathaniel's focus is clearly a future in music. And with songs with as much conviction as they are relatable, Nathaniel is sure to have not only a future in music; but, a career marked by longevity. Nathaniel Peterson: singer,
songwriter, producer, and most definitely indelible. For Booking and information contact:Artist Management
