Smash Hitley is unique! His live show is a spectacle. Without the aid of backing tracks or sequencers, Smash creates epic remixes comprised of up to 80 layers of sound, incorporating bits and pieces of up to half a dozen different artists (per song). The ultimate "mash-up". In addition, Hitley assigns images and stunning visual effects to various notes on his synthesizer. Everything we see and hear is coming at us, in real-time, from the notes he plays. His work offers an artistic take on the cult of celebrity. ____________________________________________________________
