About Me

I find that when I think positive thoughts, then the law of attraction kicks in, and positive things occur around me, with me, for me. The word "can't" has been dropped from my language. Fun aspects of life which I enjoy: mountain biking, body boarding, world travel, jewelry-making, making peace music videos and hanging out with my true love, Mark. I feel that the more people can experience nature and connect with it (and themselves), the better chance we humans have of surviving on this little blue marble called Earth. I believe heaven or hell are what you make of your time on Earth. I prefer heaven. To find out more about my professional life, go to: http://www.crystalpyramid.com/patty_mooney.htmlHere are some videos I made:"A Mountain Bike Passage to India""In God's Country" with Ani DiFranco:Laura Dawn & Moby Sing for Women's Choice:"When Did Jesus Become a Republican?" byCindy Lee Berryhill"Gentle, Angry People" with Holly Near"Gone Away" by ThreePeace

My Interests

Mountain biking, bodyboarding, producing video shorts on peace and a woman's choice, music and art, photography, guitar, karaoke, and of course spending time with my husband.

I'd like to meet:

Dalai Lama, Maxine Hong Kingston, Cindy Sheehan, Jimmy Carter, and if there were a time machine, I would like to go back and visit with Gandhi, Buddha, Jesus and Mary Magdalene (who has been completely under-rated by the Catholic Church of which I am no longer a member. I do not condone the castigation of women which has been going on for centuries under the guise of religion.) I think that the world will do a 180-degree turn towards peace, happiness and prosperity the minute that humans begin to honor and respect women and nature. This loathing of women and nature is really a self-loathing which can easily be addressed by each person who suffers from it... Do not be afraid to look within for your answers.

Music:

My favorite bands lately: ThreePeace, A Scribe Amidst the Lions, Ani DiFranco, music that says something.

Movies:

My movies are here: http://www.youtube.com/candacelove

Television:

I am involved in making television, so I do enjoy watching it. Favorites: Jon Stewart, Smallville, Boston Legal, CSI Las Vegas, Bill Moyers, Family Guy, Small Park, The Simpsons. The Simpsons episode modeled after "24" was hilarious. The old SNL's are also classic.

Books:

It's been tougher to sit down and read a book lately, but I have been enjoying George Carlin's book, and adore Anne Rice's work. Her husband, Stan's poetry, not so much.

Heroes:

Cindy Sheehan, the Vets Against the War, Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Maxine Waters, the people who stand up against what is wrong even in the face of ignorance and delusion which can be overwhelming.
