Wayne Steagall, drummer, is the backbone of Dr. Todd. Wayne will tell you that Dr. Todd should be at the top of the heap. Wayne also plays with Austin band, Housewrecker. His influences run strong in the Kiss and Tommy Lee era.Ken Huncovsky is a bassist, vocalist, keyboardist, sound designer and producer. His musical influence is diverse(Aerosmith to Warren Zevon). Ken brings his diverse influence and rock sensibilities to Dr. Todd.Todd Moore is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, bassist and sound engineer. Band Members: Todd Moore hails from Beaumont, Texas but moved to Austin in 1976. He quickly learned how to hitchhike to the Armadillo World Headquarters and meet other music lovers. He enjoyed jamming on his guitar with other musicians who also liked rock music. He formed his first band in 1977 called The Jimmies. He played with many other bands whose gigs included Liberty Lunch, The Back Room, Steamboat and The Oasis. Other bands he played with in his early years in Austin were UXB and Blind Rhino. Todd attended and graduated The University of Texas with a BS degree in Radio, Television and Film. In 1979, Todd Moved to San Francisco to pursue a master’s degree at San Francisco State University. Here he joined The Judy Bloom. This band performed in Austin and Houston as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. They also received airplay on a song which appeared on the LP, ACME – The Bay Area’s Best Unsigned Bands. Todd recorded a CD in his home studio entitled, Dogmor. This CD of Todd’s original music was recorded and mixed by Neil Sedaka’s sound engineer, Dan Crowe. Dogmor at one time featured Paul Hood of the Toiling Midgets on bass. Todd also played bass and sang with bay area singer/songwriter Laura Chandler. He later formed Flytrap. Among other songs, Flytrap’s song Little Fly received some airplay on California radio. Flytrap was invited to play a live show on Berkeley radio station, KALX in 1997. In 1999, Todd moved to Austin and immediately formed The Freebooters, a folk and blues band. In 2001 C. Rex, and original rock and country rock band was formed. During this period, Todd also sang and played guitar with Jean Caffeine. In 2003, Todd met and began to play with drummer, Wayne Steagall. Todd searched for the right musicians to form original rock band, Dr. Todd. The band currently features Wayne Steagall on drums and vocals, Ken Huncovsky on bass and vocals, and Todd Moore on guitar and vocals. Dr. Todd recorded four songs for the upcoming movie, “Z – A Zombie Musical.” Dr. Todd has also released an EP CD self titled “Dr. Todd.” The CD was recorded at the renowned Fire Station Studio’s in San Marcos, Texas. Guests on the CD include Maryann Price on vocals and percussion and the late Harry Kleintank on flutes and saxophones. Dr. Todd’s political song, Hey Georgie is on the NeilYoung.com Top LWW (Living With War) Top 2000 Songs. Currently, Hey Georgie is rated at #149 in popularity on the site. All rights reserved.

We look forward to playing more in 2008. We also will be recording and releasing some new material. 2007 is behind us now and we are ready to kick some @$$.

Jon Dee Graham at the Continental

Jon Dee and his band was great as usual.  His new bass player is awesome and the drummer sitting in did great too.  Sweet.
