luna.. is back!

semel gatàzz, semper gatàzz!

About Me

.. i'm a velvety black kitten
with big, bright yellow eyes..
one day my later-to-become human friend ele was walking around in viareggio when she saw a pet friends society stall.
they had some cats, so she stopped by.
one of them was a cute little black kitten - that is me.
when they removed the blanket from above my cage, i looked at the sky above as to make it my own again - even as a little kitten, i was a free spirit.. and very curious about everything around me.
well, with that fascinated look i won ele's heart..
it was really love at first sight!
i have no memory of my pre-adoption life. maybe it's a little strange - i was a five month kitten when i moved with ele. but, that's it.
however, since april 2003, i am one of the happiest cats in the world.
i live in ele's apartment, but i can go playing outside anytime i want to. there's a very big garden around the house, where i can run till i'm out of breath, and roll in the grass, and lay in the sunbeams; there are also many trees, on wich i usually climb and on whose bark i sharpen my nails. finally - last but not least! - i have plenty of delicious food, of cuddles.. and love.
who could ask for more?

My Interests

sleeping - most of all, in ele 's bed
running in the fields
climbing up trees
hunting mice, birds and lizards
eating lots of good food
laying lazily in the sun
getting rubbed in the end of my back
assaulting ele hiding behind the sofa
purrrfect purrring
lots and lots of cuddles - but only when i feel like.

I'd like to meet:

cats. and people who love cats.

Music:

well.. doubtless, my favourite band is field mice. and i love cat power. i also like cat's miaow, and an emergent italian band called cat claws: i have all of their demos! instead, i'm not so sure about curiosity killed the cat.. maybe because of the name. it's a little annoying, you know.

in general, i love all of the music ele loves.. fortunately.

Movies:

i don't like that much sitting still a whole film long.. or, if i do, i usually end up sleeping.. in any case, i really appreciated the aristocats and that darn cat! .

Television:

i don't like at all that stuff.. it's *so* boring.

Books:

i'm really of the cultural kind. but as of now i prefer letting my instinct prevail over the reason; that's why I spend my days hunting and exploring, so most of the time i'm too tired to open a book. i'll catch up when i'm older.

some rainy days, though, gave me time to appreciate yoga for cats [by christinne wadsworth] and particularly cats [by doris lessing].
