April 2007 – Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Marshall Dane, is taking his new album Weapons of the Future to the road, with original shows lined up at live music clubs in the Toronto area and a national tour in the works.
As a full-time musician with a riveting stage performance, Marshall has built a steady following of fans in his years of gigging around southern Ontario. Weapons of the Future, a cultural mosaic of rootsy-pop rock anthems, plays out with radio-friendly ease and captures the independent but romantic spirit of changing times.
Watching Marshall take the record out of the studio and perform acoustically, or jam it out with his varied roster of backing players, is always a shocking thrill. With the singular power that only a bonafide performer posseses, Marshall Dane transcends the room with his raw talent, instrumental diversity, and lightning vocals, stunning audiences each and every time.
You can also catch Marshall weekly at Roc’n’Doc’s in Mississauga, and The King’s Arms in Oakville.
