Say Anything is my favorite movie, I like 80's movies and really well made and thought out films. I think that anything with Bill Murray in it is good. I really like Wes Anderson films and watching stand up comics from the late 70's-early 80's. I hate anything with a big budget Hollywood formula...I don't want to be assumed a fool because I have two hours to spare.http://www.netflix.com/BeMyFriend/P9NAQJaU0AGhAHi90ASd
Okay, if you know me, you know I am a sucker for Buffy, the Cobert Report, the Daily Show, Roseanne, the Simpsons and Sex and the City. I really like Nova and PBS Documentaries. I am addicted to cooking shows. I can't be around a television for too long because I really get sucked in by its stupidity and start analyzing everything in a very C.L.R. James sort of way...
All About Love by bell hooks, Comic Books and Graphic Novels, Autobiography of Malcolm X, Assata, self-help, how-to, diy manuals, Charles Bukowski, sci-fi, C.L.R. James, zines, cookbooks, stuff about politics--democracy, race, labor, gender, Latin America, etc. I love a good love story, but not dirty sexy love stories--romantic ones.Currently Reading: A Farewell to Arms, by Ernest Hemingway
People who are honest and those who stick up for themselves without harboring guilt about it. People who focus on solving their problems rather than trying to cover them up by taking on extra emotions. People who don't make excuses for their poor behavior. People who constantly work on being better people. People who are past being 30-year old teenagers.
