..Amazing voice, incredible song writing ability and seductive melodies theres no denying Melvin Turner is one to watch out for. Influenced by an array of artists From Al Green to JayZ as a result Melvin has spent the last nine years perfecting his talents. Unimpressed by what todays UK music scene has to offer, Melvin feels a lot of artists today (with the exception of a few) are init for the fame and money and not for the love of music. He feels that R&B is nowhere near the level it was in the 90s and has become too reliant on production and image. Melvin says I don't sing because I'm chasing fame or awards because I know all those things are temporary, records will eventually be broken and legacies will eventually fade, for me its about writing songs that actually make sense, songs people can relate to.
