About Me
Lyrically Scar’d are a collective of MC’s who consist of M.D.R, Jay V and Triple Plat who’s initial approach is to represent their individual qualities through an intelligent state of lyrical content. Hailing from South London, Lyrically Scar’d have thrived from on their determination to better themselves as artists and are ready to musically grow.Having attended school together Lyrically Scar’d have gone from strength to strength and have over time developed their skills to the highest level. Their aim is to rise from the struggle of day to day life to eventually become fine and well respected musicians within the UK urban music scene. With their versatile interest in all music genres, whether its Hip Hop, Grime, R&B or even smooth soulful beats, Lyrically Scar’d create music that is still yet to be identified but never the less, a style that clearly posses unique qualities from each.
Having featured on BBC3’s "Singing With The Enemy" which received rave reviews from viewers, they showed there passion and versatility within there musical talent and a mature approach to experimenting with different musical styles.
Additionally, the group have continuously performed exceptionally, memorizing, live shows at events such Plan B, Brixton, New Deal for Communities, New Cross Gateside Festival, New 291 Show, Hackney Empire, Tim Westwood’s University tour - South Bank University, MOBO’s Uni Challenge, Have You Got Skillz showcase, Wandsworth Civic Centre, Urban Kingdom presents 1st Verse, Illusions - SW16, May Day Festival, Ipswich, Lewisham People’s Day 2006 and Southwark Youth Council showcase, Broadway Theartre, Catford and many others.
