It was 1988 2nd of May! An Emcee born in the game thats jay. Jarvis Vincent Akenteng aka Jay.V has been into music since the day he was born. Many influences like Michael Jackson, Mc Hammer, Kriss Kross and other types of music has emerged Jay.V to create a unique sense of style in his music.At the age of 13 Jay discovered that UK garage was the next big thing. Jay loved Hip Hop, RnB and Rap but he thought it was based too much in the USA. After Jungle there was Garage which Jay wanted to get into.Oxide and Neutrino, So Solid crew, Get rich crew, K2 family, Pay as you go, Ms Dynamite.These artists and crews all helped Jay.V to get into the scene himself so he started to practise.Jay.V developed an old school style that related to the scene and got a lot of feedback from those in his school and the ends he lived in. Jay and Triple Platt began spitting together and creating a name as a duo but then haters and snakes and so called friends turn against jay at numerous occasions and that led to Jay.V quitting the scene.2 years on in 2002 summer time, Garage started to evolve into a different sound, East Londons finest like dizzee rascal, Wiley etc were merking the airwaves with other crews and started to create their own scene.Jay started to develop his flow but it werent easy but eventually he made and he knew what his goal was.Aged 15 Jay.V started getting love from his ends as he showed off his different style and charisma towards the crowed. Jay started battling other MCs gradually getting his name heard. But it was difficult so jay started gaining his experience at studios and Radio stations such as Delight fm, Rinse fm, Frontline FM, Lay Low FM. The audience reaction was good but Jay did not feel that he was out there. Ghetto Kyote was a fresh production which was made in 2004 summertime which Jay did his own dub to. The dubbed spread all over the UK places like Manchester, Newcastle it was a positive out come.Jay went to the same school as Triple Platt, MDR and Nemesis. Jay.V was one of the best emcees in his school where as Triple Platt and MDR joint a Hip Hop crew with other people in the school. but dueto the fact of everyone leaving to o college and othe situations the group split up.Triple Platt and 2face (a former member of the crew) came up with the idea to create a new group, MDR agreed. then Platt and Face came up with the name 'Lyrically Scar'd'. People left the group and because they were all friends before Jay also joint the group. there is plenty more of how this was made but you'll find out sooner or later.
