Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. - Anais Nin

About Me

I am originally from Grenada in the Caribbean. I'm from St. Patrick's in the Northern end of the island (considered the "country-side"). Shit, if you didn't wanna read all of this then you shouldn't be here. I'm a big fan of nature and the outdoors Maybe the fact my initial years and being born on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean sea will do that to you, but I like sun, trees, animals (not creepy crawly kinds though-I'm a punk when it comes to snails, spiders, lizards etc.) and of course the ocean. I must be getting old because I used to love to be in the water for like 4 hours straight. Now 30 minutes is good for me. hah!
My personal likes... see I'm an Aries (for those of you who know their astrology) that means I will eternally be a big kid, in what I do and the the way I do things. I enjoy cartoons, anime (grown folks cartoons), chocolate (not candy people CHOCOLATE-completely different!). It took me a long time to get to where I am emotionally and mentally so now I enjoy writing poetry. When I can I try to travel. On the emotional side, I am very sensitive-so I laugh, smile, cry and get angry very easily (a big kid remember?).I am sometimes mistakened for being naive or too lighthearted. BIG mistake. I will cut someone off in a minute, if I feel disrespected. I don't like to be misunderstood, that's frustrating to me. I am not a fan of being fake. I believe in being adaptable, 'cus we all are different people in different surroundings (which is not a bad thing), yet overall continue to be YOURSELF. That's the best compliment you can pay the world.
If your eyes are tired from the colors then... too bad. hah! It's an ode to my country's flag as well as my semi-rastafarian, buried deep down in my pysche. I confess, I'm a "bald-'ead dread". More on that later."A bizarre sensation pervades a relationshipof pretense. No truth seems true. A simplemorning's greeting and response appearloaded with innuendo and fraught withimplications. Each nicety becomes moresterile and each withdrawal more permanent." - Maya Angelou

Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington. if you've ever journeyed to some far off place where people don't know that Philly has an accent, someone may have thought you talked a little weird even though they didn't have a clue what accent it was they heard.
