About Me

My name is Marisa. I am a transgendered artist living in Seattle WA, USA. I am a graduate of the Pacific Northwest College of Art who has had many art shows in Seattle, Portland, New York City, Washington DC among others. I have also shown in group shows with H.R. Giger, Marion Peck, Ernst Fuchs, Eric White and Mark Ryden.Currently, I have given up painting in search for a job in the film or video game industry where I wish to be a 3d modeler, 2d texture map painter or 2d concept artist. Between my love of fantasy, scifi and the surreal and my need to make more money to support my genderchange surgery needs, I decided to get try to get a animation job which pays way better than my current income level.Inccidentlally, sex reassignment surgery cost in the states depending all that you need up to 70k dlrs. If one goes to another country for this it would still cost around 30k.I have many paintings from my galleries shows still availble for sale, and I am looking for any leads for game work where the staff are progressive enough to work with a transgendered person.
