Uschiva appeard in the summer of 2003.
It was created by Edgar Guerreiro (Vocals/Keyboards/Production),Ruben Azevedo (Drums/Production) and Diana Costa (Vocals).
Due to the fact that the band members live and study away from each others,the wrinting process is somewhat difficult.
In early 2005,the band recorded the self titled EP.The recording took place in the Eyeball Studios with long time friend Carlos Rocha as a producer,and had as guests Marco Martins(Bass) and Paulo Duarte(Guitar).
The end result were 4 tracks influenced by Trip-Hop and the vast universe of Rock.
After that,Paulo Duarte became a full time member.
In March of 2005,Uschiva entered in a contest (+Musica2005) making it to the final,were the band was awarded with the best New Act prize and made their debut live as well.
Righ now,the band is currently on a long term hiatus. We are without a singer and all working on other projects.
