UNFAIR is a band that feels the taste of the sea. All band members are from small towns bathed by the Atlantic ocean in the south of Portugal.
From the start of 2003, the band has found a four stable lineup right after a few drummer changes, including Fabio Guimares as vocal, Mario Incio on the guitars, Sergio Sena on the bass, and Jeremie Guerreiro on the drums.
Their passion by making music makes them want to go further, even knowing that they are in a very "closed" country (in the music business). And so the first EP titled "One Step to Heaven" is born! The EP consists in 3 tracks that are mostly marked by a Nu-Metal/Metal rhythm, and shows the very first music registrations of this very young band members.
One Step to Heaven was mostly developed in the web, where the band got many "featured band" or "band of the day" or even "music of the week" in several garage band sites all over the world.
Unfair music started also to play in some Universities and Internet radios in the United States with the "Conscience of Hallucination" track, which it gave them the opportunity to be included in the "Not Dead" split, to support organizations that are dedicated to research into curing, and care of people afflicted with, Multiple Sclerosis, with many more worldwide rock bands and commercialized all over the world.
One Step to Heaven recording, definitely opened some doors, and the band started to give some shows all over the country... But... it was not enough... the band wanted more and more, so they have decided to restart, and make new sounds, with a new music style and a new attitude. That's when they went back to the local studio and start the recordings of "Rebellion Poetry (under my sleeve)". The band's "hungry" to see the finished work was huge so they've put all their effort together to do the best they can.
In the end, the results could not have been better. Lots of people giving super positive feedback and the amount of Unfair supporters in live shows is still growing.
"Rebellion Poetry (under my sleeve) EP" consists in two tracks and is the combination of the band's inside feelings and emotions, the combination of four men lifestyle where the melody and the insanity is put together!
