Hyptno(Rasheed) began palying the saxophone at the age of 10yrs. while learning Jazz and performing as a young child at the Philadelphia Clef Club(Lovett Hines) he has had the oppurtuniy to play with great musicians such as Grover Washington,Steve Turre, Bobby Watson,Louis Taylor, Robert Landam,Clark Terry and more.... Once Rasheed Graudated from High School he moved to Washington, D.C. to attend Howard University on a music scholarship. After leaving Howard he continued playing the saxophone but transfered to Temple University where he realized that Jazz saxophone was not the direction he wanted to go, Rasheed found his niche for song making during this transition and eventually found a true love for producing beautiful music. He graduated in 2004 from Temple university with a Broadcasting Dregree in Audio. Rasheed Joined Philadelphia's own and world renowed vocalist Lady Alma 's band where he got the oppurtunity to travel and Perform with major artist in this business. Rasheed got his first saxophone debut and credit on the song entitled "Chances" produced by Dj Spinna feat. Lady Alma which was released worldwide (Wonder Wax Records). Then in 2005 he formed Hyptnosheed inc. Publishing Co. Since then he has been blessed and has the oppurtunity to work recently with Creative Control Music be ont he look out for our music coming very soon. Rasheed has moved from Philly to Atlanta these pass few months to further his Producing career and is working with Hip Hop artist from Indiana Jae Ellis(www.jaeellis.com) and Lakeshow Management. Rasheed has a true sound in his music and it's just a matter of time. Look out for his sound in the near future with the Saxophone and the Production.
